    Am I pregnant?
    I stopped taking my birth control 2 weeks ago. 4 days after I stopped I got what I thought was my period -light cramps and bleeding for 2 and half days then stopped. 1 week later I felt dizzy. I took 3 different home pregnancy tests and they all came up with a faint line. The next day I went to the doctor and they took a blood test. The results were negative. I have had cramping for 2 days and no bleeding I am also bloated. Is it possible that I am pregnant but just not far enough to tell or did I have a chemical pregnancy. I feel really depressed about it .

    Your body needs time to adjust to no longer being on birth control.

    Give your body sometime to regulate and take another test in a week or so, but your complications are probably related to no longer being on birth control, not pregnancy.

    Birth control seems to be the main cause for your problems. Your body is now having to adjust to being off the pill just like it did when you were on. A faint line on the pregnancy test is still a line. But since you got the blood test and it came out negative, then there is absolutely no way your pregnant. Blood tests are absolute. If it was a urin test that would be different. 4 days being off the pill isn't long enough to get pregnant if you have been on for years. It takes at least a week for it to get out of your system/.
