Yes, it does vary by place to place for where former felons can get help. So, it would be helpful to know the location of where you're wanting to find out the information.

Around where I live and in the Chicago, IL area, we have what's called the Safer Foundation. They help people who've been convicted of something to find jobs.

Perhaps there might be a similar organization around where your looking to find out how to get help finding a job?

Come on guys and gals. First off loss the trip. For everyone who went in there should have been 10 more behind them. What type of crime did you get convicted of? How long has it been since your conviction? Was you crime a violent crime? Look into your right as to getting your records expunged. Use this net as a great research tool to look up the laws and how you can use them to better put you and your family in a position. Look if the mayor of DC got caught on film smoken a pipe and got convicted and released and re-elected there there is hope for you.
