    Old cars on neighbor's property
I'm trying to sell my 3bed 2bath house in California. We live in a populated part of town but it's a nice cul d' sac location. The neighbor across from us has 3 old antique cars that she purchased over a year ago with plans to "fix them up" but since then they have not been touched. So now these old cars are sitting right on her front property and we've had numerous interested buyers comment about "the neighbor with the old cars" with the reason why they don't make an offer.

Is there anything I can do about this? I know the neighbor and we're friendly but we don't have a long term relationship, only been neighbors for 3 years. I feel like going over there and asking politely to do something with their property to clean it up but then again, it's their property and they can do what they want.

    Any comments?

    Thanks,

Doesn't your village or city have any Unlicensed vehicle ordinances? You should check, a lot of municipalities have laws against that kind of crap!

Off him a small amount of money to move them to the back or to storage till after you sell the house

Contact the zoning and/or code enforcement office to see if there is a law for your county or city on non licenced autos on property

In reply to both posts, the cars are actually licensed, all three of them. And I could look up city ordinances for a law but really, neighborhoods like mine are a dime a dozen and I'm not sure I'd get a lot of support from the city. Worth a shot though I guess.

You could give her some options. Most people buy things with good intentions, but never seem to have enough time. It sounds like this is what is happening with this neighbor. You could suggest to her that she sell the cars or at least get a San Diego cash advance loans on them so that she can make money off them.
