    Back Child Support Collection
My ex-husband and I divorced in 1985 in California. He was ordered to pay child support to our 3 year old daughter. I never received any child support payments from him. My daughter is now 27 years old, married with a family. Also, my ex-husband is an attorney, here in So. California.
Please advise if I am able to collection past support.
    Thank you.

Open a case with your county Department of Child Support Services (DCSS). They'll collect this for you for free.

DCSS will send your ex a bill with 10% interest added. I think he'll
Be shocked to see the amount owed if he never paid anything on the support order for its 15 year duration (round about).
