Hi everyone,

I'm not really into make-up... but I was in the mall the other day with my friend who was purchasing make-up. The sales lady said that Clinique is the best brand of make-up to use. What does everyone think here?

In addition, do you think there is any difference really between the make-up brands you find in Dillards and Macy's versus the ones you find in Target and Walmart?

The best make up is the one that has been used through trial and error by an individual, in other words, what they have found works best for their skin type or colouring. I don't think Revlon or Maybelline are any different then the more expensive brands.

Basically I think the things that make make up better or not is the chemicals and if they are hypo allergenic or not.
Other than that how long they hold up through the day.

Hey TeaStalk, It doesn't really matter on what kind of brand is the best. EVERYONE has their own prefrence on how the makeup works on themselves. So I say, just try all kinds and see what works best for you. Clinque is supossed to be hypo-alerginc, but It's very pricy. Hope this helped. GOD BLESS

I think it's better to just test out a couple of brands. A lot of people just use certain expensive brands because they think that the more expensive it is the better. That's not always the case though. I have always found both good and bad products from brands I've tried. Even dollar store brands have good makeup.

I like mineral make-up... I don't care what brand it is as long as the store has a sample to test out and see if it works for my skin type.

I use foundation every day. It just covers up scars and makes skin look more clear and even but if your skin is already clear their's no point of wearing it.

I personally just use a concealer on any spots I have... I get a lot of acne and foundation actually makes them show up more.
