    Title of mobile home who owns it
    I have a1996 fleetwood that is in my uncles and my name in the county of Greenville SC,My uncle has passed away about 1 year ago and his wife is going through probate court and is trying to have his interest in this title changed over to her name can she do this? I was always under the impression that if a title is in two persons names that when one is deceassed the other is automatically intitled to the property.I am in dire need of help before she does this,I pay the taxes and have done so for 4 or 5 years now and I live in this home with my family of 5 counting myself,I am afraid that someone may come and try to take it,the land it sits on is mine and has the deed in my name only,What can I do about this

    It depends on how title is held. What is the exact wording on your papers?

    Yes there are several ways to have names on it. One way, she will own his 1/2 ( or his heirs will) the other way you own all of it.

    The exact ways the words are listed makes all the differece
