Oven door back on and too high!
Indesit gas oven FG 10K GB

I have removed my oven door to clean it and put it back on after. When I closed it, the door was too high up and is not sitting correct.

I slotted the brackets into the holes and turned the catch 180 degrees and now I cannot move the catch back the 180 degrees to enable me to lift the oven door to start again.

I need some help please to explain to me what angle I need the door in to enable me to turn the catch back the 180 degrees. As it is now, the catch is in he hole too far to enable me to rotate it towards me to get the door off. Many thanks in anticipation.

It is a very strong spring, would be tough to describe. If door won't open or close more, you might try a firm grip and lift or pull down while trying to pull out.

I am replying to the person who helped me to tell you that I made a note of your advise and went back to the kitchen.

With you HELP I have managed to sort it and the oven door is closed now.

Thanks so much to you from Derbyshire in the United Kingdom.

    A thousand thank-you's.
