    Statue of limtiations definition
I have another question. In TExas the statute of limtiations is 4 years on a credit card debt.I have been told by 2 different attornies 2 different things. I have been sued by Capital one. Field Sept. 5, 2008. The last payment on the credit card was August 2008. When do the 4 years start? The date of my last charge, last payment (which is the actually default)or when the charge was "written" off? I do not have enough money to hire an attorney. Default means the time it was late.

It starts from last payment unless it has changed since I was told this.
