Can anyone please tell me why I am losing steering and drive on my massey 860 digger? All the other hydrolics are working perfectly. When the drive and the steering do intermitenly work they are both very lumpy? Hope you can help me cheers

Have you checked fluid levels?

The levels are fine do you know if the steering and the drive run on a separate pump

You need to get a Massey 860 Digger Owner's Manual.

I have a massey ferguson 860 1994 and the steering and the drive have both stopped working! Oil levels are fine and all other hydraulics are working perfectly. I have the owners manual but it is very basic and is no help at all. Is there a secondary pump for the steering and drive? Could it be an electrical fault? And please could some one tell me where I can find an online detailed manual of the hydraulics system so I can start problem solving, or even better point me in the right direction to solving the problem.
