Is there anything that's natural I can use on her so she won't get fleas and ticks when she goes outside to potty? I have heard borax 20 mule team soap but is that wet or dry?

Usually dogs get fleas from other dogs. They usually get ticks from long grass or wooded areas. As long as your pup is just going out on the lawn to go potty it should be fine until it's old enough for a flea coller or frontline or whatever you choode to use.

Ack! There was someone on here a while ago who had some great suggestions but I can't remember who it was!!

I'm pretty sure that lavendar is a natural defense against fleas so if you plant some in your garden and get some lavendar shampoo it should help in reducing the chance of fleas.

You really can't go past chemical flea and tick treatments though. They are safe and there are many different varieties from collars to liquids that go on their skin.
