Manifestations of envy
Who could tell me (born again Christians please) their opinions on chracteristics of Envy?
Envy of man towards a woman. Colleagues in a work place. She is new, he has been there for 6 years +.
Two totally different departments but he holds a grudge. Why? He had a problem with previous occupy of her position and apparently her manager, they appear not to be on good speaking terms.
Any opinions.
Thanks.

You are being so vague that it's hard to help... but based on what you are saying, I'd say this:
Run from it. Avoid it. Do your best to get it out of your mind because it does not matter in the big scheme of things.
What you need to focus on is doing your job well. I'm not suggesting that you don't - but just suggesting that you "boil it all down" to that and just that.
If you do your job well then that's all you can do.

Envy is a spiritual disease that attacks the personal motives of a person. In my experience it comes out most often when we feel threatened in our social standing by the attitudes and actions of another person. This often leads to resentments in our lives, this is the most dangerous symptom of envy because it grows into hatred, and hatred grows into murder! If you wish to minister to envy, prayer and fasting are your best salve, firstly because prayer introduces a correct spirit to dissipate the problem and secondly fasting shows those incorrect spirits that self sacrifice(the exact opposite of envy) is easily achieved. Be wary of contact with envious people in a hurry, because envy is also known to be contagious,

James 3:16&17
"For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.
17- But the wisdom that is from above is first, pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy."God's wisdom leads to harmony and peace, while human wisdom leads to arrogance and dissension.

Hello summertyme,
I'm kind of blunt so here goes: (The 'you' below doesn't mean you specifically)
You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor. Job, position, health, brains, undeserved promotions, wealth, etc.
The person that thinks these thoughts is hurting themselves.
"The longer you nurse a grudge, the longer it takes to get better."

Ear Bud Envy

Hello:
I have these really cute ears. However, they're shaped wrong. I don't know why, but I can't keep ear buds in 'em. They just fall out. I push and bend - and they still fall out. It even hurts, I've pushed so hard. I see people walking around, even riding bicycles bouncing along...
