 There are many posts about my problem but I need to take it to the next step. Need to remove a Watco tub drain shoe already have removed the push/pull stop then tried to remove shoe but the corroded cross bars broke off easily. Purchased a Ridge #342 internal wrench but still will not break...

 Good morning--i have been trying to remove the face plate of my tub (american standard 6 jet jacuzzi) to try to snake the drain--however the face place has no exposed screws, and the only thing I see is a small notch on the side but I can't figure out how to get it off, and I don't want to break...
