    Deere RX75 Riding mower
    This is my first riding mower. I bought it used last year and it motored nicely into my minivan and then I drove four hours home. Since then it won't start/turnover. Engine does turn when solenoid crossed, otherwize DEAD. Local repair had it for two months, no luck. They couldn't figure out the absurd wiring system. I have since checked every one of the eight or so disconnect switches with no luck and even installed a new wiring harness. Any ideas, or trash, run from Deere and get a new something that works?

    That's hard to believe. If you bypassed the safety switches you would be down to

    Ignition switch..
    Solenoid..
    Starter...
    Then
    Ignition coil for spark.

    I would temporarily disconnect safety's and go back to basics.

    Do you get an amp reading at the starter post?? That's part of the beginning here. Test starter from a battery jump cable first and determine if that is good and go from there...
