    Best way to level a concrete floor
    I have enclosed a patio with an enclosed sunroom above. The sunrrom has a roof over it and windows all the way around. The floor of the sunroom will be wood. It is insulated. Under that will be the deck that this was built over. I have now enclosed this deck with wall, including windows and an overhead garage door (golf cart size). This space too will be insulated. The perimeter is level under the wall construction, it is the area in one corner that is not level. In fact it goes from about 1" to 1/2" off from one corner to the other. There is also a small crack in the concrete floor - probably from age as the floor is about 30 years old. This floor currently has a Sherwin Williams Stain on it - it has held up well and I will probably do something similar.

    I want to try to level this floor to be able to put a wood lathe, a SawStop and other pieces of woodworking equipment on it. I also might want to built some work space - counter - on this side along the wall.might.

    What is the best product to use to level this floor with?

    Leveling techniques range from rebuilding the deck to pouring self-leveling cement on top of it, to pumping concrete beneath the footings. I'm not sure I know a "best product".

    Interested to find out whether you moved forward with this. I'm currently scratching my head about the best way to level a garage floor (2 concrete slabs, one level, but one which has cracked and sagged about 2 inches), prior to insulating it and moving in a load of woodworking equipment including... a sawstop.

    I'll be checking this out over the next 2 or 3 weeks and will let you know if I move forward with it, and how. Would appreciate it if you could do the same. Thanks. :)
