    I have a TX9000TS thermostat
    Got a new themostat for my ac. Where does the blue wire go? I have five wires white, red, green, yellow and blue

    Where did the blue wire go on the old thermostat? Or was it even connected.

    Most thermostats have the R,G,Y,W. and normally that is what you have in the wire colors but sometimes the installer will have a five wire or six wire cable and not use one or two of them, therefore having some extra.

    So try it with the Y on Y and if that does not work try the B on Y.

    Blue will need to be connected to c if you have a new digital t-stat, or you will be changing batteries a good bit
