    Strip wood paneling
Is it possible to strip the paint off the wood panelling in my 1946 home's walls to return them to their original state?

What kind of paneling, something like knotty pine or the 4x8 sheets of prefinished paneling?

I believe it's more like knotty pine--it's a cherry colored wood. The house was built in 146. Thanks!

If it is real wood boards then the paint can probably be stripped and the wood restained. Will be a lot of work. It will probably have some kind of varnish finish under the paint.
