    2 Outdoor ceiling fans
I have 2 ceiling fans that work off one switch. The first one I wired had 1 romex with 1 black, one white and a solid copper,my fan has the remote that wires with a black, white and the 3 other wires go to the lamp, motor and a white wire. The other fan,had 2 romex coming out of it and I wired them the same as the other except 3 blacks together,3 whites together and the remote wired as instructed, why was it wired like this on the second one?Is it a closed loop?now the one fan works great and the lights work on both, except now one fan does not work and it feels like it wants to run,but doesn't.Help!

Are both fans identical with remotes, and the differences are in your house wiring?

What was there before the fans and how was it wired?

New Home just wired, both fans are the same as well as the remotes,it looks like it's a looped connection 2 black wires,2 white wires and the rest green.I tried wiring it the same as the other, the lights work on both, one fan works the other doesn't,I think it's the fan motor, both are new out of the box,I tried to wire it any way posssible,no aval.:(
