I have a Glacier Bay kitchen faucet (the only numbers I can find on the faucet are 389-959; 112.18.1.2000; and 2.2 GPM which I know is the flow rate) that is so stiff when swiveled that it moves the base attachment. It has a pull out hose in the arm and the spray nozzle has a switch to change from spray to full flow. I would like to determine how to disassemble the unit. Where can I obtain access to an exploded-view diagram? The original directions are unavailable.

Glacier Bay is carried by Home Depot.
Most Glacier Bay faucets are manufactured by Globe Union Industrial Faucet Company of Canada , China, and elsewhere. Their brands, besides Pegasus and Glacier Bay, include Danze and Gerber.

What I can tell you is that if you can remove the sp;out and lubricate the "O" rings with Teflon Jel your problem will go away. Good luck, Tom

The column has couple of O rings. They may be either stiff or need lubrication. Remove the column with spout, observe the O rings. If intact, use plumber's lubricant. Be generous. Reinstall.

I wouldn't advise using plumbers lubricant( Plumbers Heat Proof Grease) on any Neoprene "O" rings or for that matter any lubricant that's petroleum based.
Petroleum will rot and deteriorate Neoprene. Use what Moen uses to lube their "O" rings which is Silicone Jel. Regards, Tom

Just had the same problem with my Glacier Bay faucet, same model as yours Woodcliffe. You should be able to remove the spout/sleeve by sliding it up (after removing the water control arm on top). Mine was very difficult to remove, I had to first soak it in lime away. After removal I found calcium buildup on the inside of the sleeve - that was causing the problem. Must have a small leak in there somewhere, probably time to replace the faucet.
