    What kind of sand should be used under a liner
    Need to change liner in my above ground pool some of the sand has algae what kind of sand should I use to replace it

    Play sand or even masons sand is fine. The green algae usually isn't a big deal. Spray it with 1:1 water bleach and install the liner.
