    Hair dying drama
I have dark brown hair w/red tones in it. It's my natural hair color. I decided to dye my hair a light brown, the hair color did not turn out the way I thought it would. It's red now! Not just red, it looks orange at the roots. I need help! I want to go back to my dark brown. What should I do? Do I wait a few days and then dye it back to a dark brown.

You can dye it today. There's no advantage to waiting. Hair won't "heal" or "get better" with time.

Be careful about going too dark. Hair that's already been dyed tends to absorb more color than virgin hair. You'll likely end up with black hair unless you select a shade lighter than your target color.
