Is it possible to be pregnant and still get your monthly menstral cycle?

It is possible to bleed while you are pregnant, but its not a "true" period. It would most likely be lighter, and not last as long as normal.

I didn't even know I was pregnant until I was over 10 weeks. I had no symptoms and still had my cycle. I was surprised! Then I continued to have my cycle until I was 6 months pregnant. I mentioned this to my mom and for my oldest brother she had her cycle the entire pregnancy.

Yes, you may bleed, even for sometime as
88sunflower had happen, but it is not technically a period as LearningAsIGo said.

There are a number of reasons someone might bleed in pregnancy, some are minor and resolve on their own, others can be of a more serious nature... any bleeding should be checked out.

Yep Doula, I did bleed for a time. Then when that stopped there were issues. I had spotting and several times after thought I may be losing my baby. Either way get it checked out.

Yes. I had a period but it was abnormal. I wasn't sure what it was because the tests were even negative but I finally found out I was pregnant when I was 3 months pregnant.
