    Tearing out old roof
We have a small building in need of roof replacement, it is flat top with rotted wood and rain pours through. We plan replacing this roof with a tin one, should be tear out the rotted wood first or place the tin on top of the resisting.

Replace rotten wood before installing metal roofing. Will give stability needed for tin.

    Good luck

Do you know what the pitch is here or is it actually a flat roof. If it is a basic flat roof the use rubber to re roof it.
