    quadratic equation
    A frog is in a well that is 30 meters deep the frog goes up 3 meters in the day and then goes down 2 meters each night. How many days will it take for the frog to get out?

    Just with logical common sense,
    I suggest it would take the frog 30 days.

    The frog moves up 3 meters/day and then down 2 meters/night. How many days will it take for the frog to get out?
    He'll be out in 28 days. He won't have to drop down during the 28th night.
