    Frozen Chicken
If chicken is frozen can I cook it and then refreeze it, I don't have time to cook what I bought it for. So I thought I would cook it and then refreeze it. Will this work? :)

You could do that, it won't be the same if thawing out cooked chicken unless using it for something like a soup or chicken salad.

You can thaw out the raw chicken and cut what you need and then re-freeze the uncooked chicken as soon as you get what you need.

Speaking from experience, if you just toss it in the oven the result is a) an unsafe half-cooked chicken b) unpleasant looking. Even after an hour in the oven, parts of the chicken are still frozen and the other parts are dried out.

I think you're better bet is to simmer it in water for 1 to 1.5 hours. Half-way through break it apart. Make soup or salad, etc.

Agree with both of the statements above. One of the ways to hide the freezer burn or toughness of the chicken is to slow cook over a 225 degree smoker or grill. You can add smoke flavor if you don't have access to real wood.
