Ah, turtles turtles, turtles. Such hateful creatures.

Had to get an alligator snapping turtle out of the back yard this morning. A young one, only about a foot in diameter. Now that was a pain. Trying to move the thing without touching it, ugh.

So we finally get the darn demon spawn in a bucket and there's a red ear slider in the drive way. No big deal, just a slider, try and move it so we can relocate the alligator snapper and the darn thing tries to attack me. So here I am, being chased in circles by a red ear slider. Suckers can move pretty fast I'll tell you.

Who ever said turtles were slow and peaceful has never met these turtles.

Yeah, O', fine. According to my husband that darn red ear almost got the heel of my foot a few times though. I certainly was not expecting the thing to lunge at me and give chase when I went to move it out of the way.

Yes, that creature was much scarier then a duck.

Duck's really aren't that bad anyway, it's the geese you really have to watch out for. There are some geese on the river bank that would hold you at gunpoint for a some pieces of bread... and your wallet, maybe even your car keys.

Yet again if you ask my husband turkeys are the worse birds in the world. He's terrified of the gobblers.

I agree with your husband. Turkeys are mean! I got bitten by a turkey once, nasty little bugger. I really hope he was the one on my plate come Christmas. Revenge is sweet!

Turkeys don't bite. They have no real teeth. They peck.
