Where does a single person go these days to meet nice guys... I'm 42 and its not easy location someone who's interested in more than a one night stand... anyone have any suggestions..

Instead of looking for a partner, and risking those guys who just want a short term fling, and hang out in the social meat markets, do the things you enjoy, and make friends, who have friends.

Hobbies, and activities that interest you, opens up the doors to the people who you have things in common with, and you can have fun, while you look around at your options, and opportunities.

That would be great advice if I happened to get out often.. usually I work or just hang out at home... over the years I lost a lot of friends.. and the ones that I do have families and things that need to be taken care of... I guess I'm just tired of being alone... but thanks for the advice...

The point I was making was, get into something interesting, that get you out of the house, and gives you options and opportunities for friends and fun. Like BINGO, bowling, line dancing.

Work with me here, the world is out there and its not going to just ring your doorbell. Isolating yourself, is not going to make you new friends.
