    401 K withdrawl
    Was laid off 2 months ago 3/13/09 and submitted withdrawl papers with my old employer on 3/18/09 since then my paper work has not been submitted to , I have called my old employer and several times with no results soon I'm going to be on the street what can I do to get my old employer to do their part?

    First, I would not recommend a withdrawal. I would rollover the amount into an IRA.

    Second, how long a distribution takes depends on the plan and when the assets are valued. Have you talked to the plan admins?
