If a private student loan states that the money can be used for educational expenses and specifically says "transportation"- what does that include? Because where I live if you don't have a car there's no way of getting to class since I don't live on campus. The bus routes stop before getting to my area and it's not within reasonable walking distance to get to the bus's last stop (a few hours of walking).

I think you should be able to buy a car.
