Should I just let her go
I just recently graduated high school, and while everyone was excited, all I could think about was this girl and how I never got the chance to connect with her like I wanted to. The two of us have only talked from time to time, mainly because I'm really shy, but I have asked her to homecoming and just recently I wrote her this letter explaining how I wish I could have gotten to know her better. Anyway, now that it's over, I just feel horrible. I miss her so much and I am mad at myself for not doing more. I don't know if I should do something about it or just try and let it go.

OK I know exactly what you should do!! Write a letter to her expressing your love. Because one of the most important girl rules is that if a boy has the courage to ask you out you at least owe him a cup of coffie & a walk around the block! If you know her e-mail address then send her the song by Jesse McCartney "How Do You Sleep?" It's the best song ever & on the top 100 songs on iTunes!! {maybe even attach a little love ____ at the end of the email. But don't let her go!! Not until you know more about her & how she feels about you!!

You really didn't know her well. You already wrote a letter saying you wish you had gotten to know her better. Did you also put in the letter How about lunch sometime?

I don't think I would write love in the letter because that could scare her off. You might write out things that you liked about her.
Like I admired your smile, laugh, the way you were always kind to others. Etc...
    Then end it with
    How about lunch sometime
    Your friend always

    Joe

    Phone number

By attempting to be her friend at least you have your foot in the door for more.
I would give it a one last shot and then leave it alone until she replies.
If you keep persisting too much without her replying she could see it as anything from desperate to stalking.
