    Cats 1st litter
    Hi can anyone help my cat is having her 1st litter she delivered 1 kitten 22hrs ago and as had nothing since but her stomach is still solid she is eating pooing and weeing as normal though so I'm not sure if thee will be more can anyone help please

    Cats can often have kittens with a 24 hour gap in between each one.

    If she is acting distressed at all take her to the vet immediately.
    Signs of distress include panting, restlessness, crying.

    If she hasn't delivered another kitten by 24 hours you will need to take her to the vet awsell. She made need a caeserian.

    Breeding cats can be expensive if everything doesn't go perfectly which a lot of the time, it doesn't.

    Hi thanks for that as eased my mind a little bit I will wait a few more hours till I take her in. like you say breedin cats is expensive that's why I only letting her have her 1st litter then getting her neutered

    Yep, there can be a lot of complications that some people don't realise :)

    Hi shaz just to let you she had 2 more kittens at 6 thiis morn :)
    I decided to leave her over night then take her to vets this morn
    But when I got up she had them thanks for your advice yesday

    Oh just so you know she had 1 kitten at 6pm on Tuesday and then the other 2 about 6am this morn Thursday and she is perfectly fine I couldn't take her to the vets at the 24hr mark because they were shut that's why I left her over night but kept her close
    I never realised they could go so long
    Thankfully she and kittens are doing well :)
