Coleman Evcon Heater/Ac unit fan is very noisy
I am a recently widowed Social Security recipient and hubby did everything so I'm lost. In my mobile home the Coleman Evcon Heater/air conditioner fan is rattling when it comes on. Both the heat and AC work fine but the fan is getting louder. It may just need tightening but I don't know how to get in it. On top I can change the filter and vacuum but from there what? After paying $1790 for a new hot water heater installation, I am afraid to call a repairman. Can anyone tell me how to get in the unit so I can at least see the fan?

The fan is in the very top of your unit. It is shold be held in there by just 2 screws, and the wires should unplug at the harness. Then it will just slide out where you can see what is going on with it.

I recently had a coleman evcon installed and it removes the humidity from the air and lowers the house humidity to dangerous nosebleed levels. I am suing them.
