I can't get exterior lockset off!
I have installed a Kwikset Smartkey exterior lock set. It was long enough ago that I can't remember any special tricks installing it (I didn't think there were any!)
I have completely removed the screws holding the two sides together and I still can't get it separated. It may be rusted from going underwater in last years flood from Ike, so maybe I just need to pull harder? I just wanted to check if anyone knows of another screw I have to take out or button that gets pressed or something like that.
    Thanks...

If all the screws are out then its sticking.
You say lock set so I'm assuming a dead bolt and a passage/entry knob. If it's the handle part that's not coming off then look under handle for a slot. Turn handle to line up the 'Pin" on that slot and press in with a very small screw driver or a string paper clip, then you can pull of handle. Some are hard to see depending how it was installed for the in and out adjustment.
