    Settling accounts

    I want to work something out with the garnishment and everyone keeps telling since its to come out May 22nd that its too late. It that true?

    First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

    You can offer to settle with the judgement holder at any time, even after the garnishment starts. However, since they have a judgement and garnishment, they will have little incentive to settle.
