Limited or no connectivity with wireless internet
I am trying to use my home wireless network, but despite there being a connection and a strong signal strength, I still cannot access the internet, there is "limited or no connectivity"

I am running Windows XP, and have a Linksys WRT54GS (ver 6.0) router. When I connect to the router with an ethernet cable, the internet works just fine.

    Here is the ipconfig/all information:

I have tried to renew the IP address, however it says that it is unable to contact the DHCP server.

Also, I have tried manually assigning an IP address. This removes the "limited or no connectivity" message, however I am still unable to connect to the internet.

Problem solved. I deleted the wireless network from my saved wireless networks, and then started over from scratch.

I still don't know what was wrong, but its working now.

    Hi, Exisaasrkog!

I'm glad that you were able to solve your problem! I too, have a wireless connection and usually end up moving the antennae to a different point everyday in order to get the best reception.

I know that isn't exactly the same as what you have, but that's how I do in order to get the best reception. The reception also seems to vary, depending on the time of day, and also because of the weather conditions.

    Thanks!
