I have a bump on my penis. It's on the shaft right under the head on the underside. I'm a virgin, so it's not an STD. The bump is slightly lighter than the rest of my penis and it doesn't itch, hurt or burn. It's also not a hair follicle or pimple because I know about those. I've had it a couple of months now and it's not getting any bigger or any smaller. Can somebody tell me what it is?

Go to a doctor NOW! DO not wait for one of us to take a shot in the dark and guess with your life in hand. Go and find out from some one who can see it and tell you an educated answer.

Do not play games here. Set what ever self confidence/embarassment issues you may have, and bit the bullet and get to a doctor. "a couple of months" - you You may have syphillis as it can be contracted quite easily. You can get and STD with out having sex at all. All it takes is contact with one who has syphillis to have an open sore and you to have got some of the clear moucus on you. If they touch the sore transferring the moucus to a drink, or your hand, any where really, and you touched it. Seriously, you may not feel anything for a long time, but when it does start to hurt, you'll wish you'd been checked out a lot earlier.

No I'm not talking out of my butt, I'm referring to the Merck manual of medical information. The book has all kinds of medical info and I strongly suggest you stop procrastinating and get on with it. See a doctor.

I'm not upset, nor stressed about this, but I think you should be. So take care and get looked at. Best thing, it's nothing and you know you're OK.
