    Being kicked out of a house
    If a cpl bought a house, while married and the husband kick out the wife and her kids out for cheating. What right does she have to come back in the house. The house is in both their names. He has changed the locks. This is in FL

    You cannot "kick" someone out of a house when that person is the owner, either the full owner or the joint owner.

    In NY a person can be arrested for locking someone out, including a spouse.

    He locked the CHILDREN out with her because SHE was cheating? Amazing.

    The law has been broken and if the wife wants to pursue the issue, she can. In some jurisdictions the Police will escort her back into the house to retrieve her belongings.

    My advice - and I don't know which side of this you are on - is to see an Attorney IMMEDIATELY.

Ok, so this one confuses me. If you are under 18, and your parent(s) kick you out, and you leave because they don't want you in their house, do they have the right to call you in as a run-a-way juvinile? And if they do, what happens if you tell them that you were kicked out and have witnesses?
