Your mom said you could or could not?

If she said you could, what is your question?

I would say that your mom said you can't, but now you don't know how ?

I would say in basic, if you don't know how, let someone else do it

I guess you should have it done professionally due to all the bacterial infections you could get doing it yourself.

If you do not know how it is time for a professional.

I would suggest you get it done professinally because if you do it yourself you'll probably get a infection. They're only like about $20 - $30.

Yes, an infection can be very serious, even life threatening. A professional cannot even guarantee that you will not get an infection. How can you guarantee you will not give yourself one?

I've also been comtemplating piercing myself, my lip. If you really want to pierce yourself, go to www.bmezine.com and type in diy lobes, and read a few stories. I've been reading up on thses for awile now, until I get the guts to do it, lol. I recommend using a sterile nedle. Try the shop at that site. Or I'm me if you want more info on this, I have some good knowledge at this point, grapegumxyumm(aim) :D

Can you please tell me how you know the needle is sterile?

Just how do you sterilize a needle?

Do not tell me alcohol or flame, that is not sterilization.

I'm not sure if bmezine has them sterile but if not, go to a shop and offer them money to have them autoclaved for you. Also, there's other sites that offer sterilized needles in any size.

A few years back I did a ear piercing myself and yes with a sterilized needle and it got so bad it frightened me to death. Since then I've been having them done professionally and no problem. I now have ten. Don't try and do it yourself! My opinion

    I have mylip pierced.
    (monroe)
So I personally think, piercing it yourself is cheeper, but its not easier.
You can get so many infections.
Likemy mom said the same thing I can do my otherone myself. *cuz I'm getting the other side in 2 days for my bday* I would rather pay money to get it done the right way, rather than risking infections and having to end up taking it out. Just pay the price and get it done right.Youll regret it. I know people whove lost some of partsof there lip due to infection.
    Itwasnt nice,';

Well I say that thier is no possible way to do a piercing yourself (or a friend) to do it without getting some kind of infection whether it be lil or big or sometimes major I say go to a professional they didn't go to school for that just for thier own s and giggle you know. It costs alot but hey its worth the money and if u can't afford to get it then don't bother the jewelery costs more then what u think and then u have to buy care products and sometimes you lose the jewelry so u have to get a box for it and other stuff so what im saying is if u have enough money to do it ur self and clean it everyday and buy more jewelry for it they u have enough to get it pierced because it cost so much less then doing it yourself and having to clean it everyday because they have thier sterilized enough to the point that you hardly have to clean it and to top it off they give you jewelry for free if you go to the right place. ;)

    Well what are you asking.
    How to pierce yourself?
Or how to sterilize the needle?
Well if your asking how to pierce yourself , where are you piercing yourself?
And I have heard a bunch of different ways to sterilize a needle but I don't want to give you info that youvee already heard.
I've seen it in the comments all the ones I know.

Wash your hands and soak the earring your percing it with is achohal. Take out the earring in your first hole and make a little dot with a marker where you want them on both sides and use a percing earring and make shure you push it through fast. You will usually hear 2 pops that's just the skin being periced on each side. I did my second hole this way and it didn't get infected and was less painful than getting it done with a needle or a percing gun and it healed faster.

Piercings [ 3 Answers ]

Hey guys, OK I have a 4 month old industrial peircing and it has these little bumps on the ends of each hole and I use sea salt and once and a while peroxide, do anyone know what else I can do to make them go away or will they go away in time, cause I know it takes 6 months to a year to heal.
