    Unknown illness
Hey my mom doesn't know what is wrong with her and keeps saying she might die and I'm really scared. Her symptoms that she told me are that she has a suffocating cough and I told her to take Rubitusin and she said it was for a cold only and she didn't have a cold. She also said there is something wrong with her heart like it isn't functioning properly but she is almost 55 years old I mean who can expect to have a perfect cough at that age, right? Anyway I would really appreciate it if you can tell me what she could have.:( thanks

It sounds like it might be what I have.
I am 54 and I have adrenaline exhaustion.
I had to quit drinking soda and caffiene and change my diet to more organic.
She really needs to go to the doctor to find out what is wrong and then we can give her a better idea of things to do.

Get back to us and let us know cause I take
Natural adrenaline supplements that really helps me.

With my problem I have adrenaline exhaust and my chest felt it was crushing in on my heart. It almost felt like I would think a heart attack would feel. I thought it was anxiety attacks but I wasn't stressed about anything.
Anyway I ended up with some central nervous system damage and I am sure it is mostly from
The caffeine, carbonation, sodium benzoate and sweeteners in soda.
Also MSG and other artificial additives to food
And I wash dishes all day for my job so I also think it is partly the chemicals in the water too.

I can understand her symptoms if she smokes heavily. It sounds like COPD, which effects the lungs and the heart.

I'm very glad that you got her to agree to going to a doctor... but I would beg you to get her there sooner than 2 weeks.

Chest pressure, heart stuff, and bad coughs are not things to just ignore. She needs to get to see someone, if nothing else, then for peace of mind in knowing what is wrong.

You're being a good daughter to be concerned about her. :)

Yeah she still hasn't gone and I bugged her about it today when I heard her cough a few times. I reminded her she promised to go. She doesn't smoke or drink or anything and she eats really healthy and I just don't know what could be wrong

A heart problem can be ascerbated by low oxygen in the blood. Her lungs have to keep up with the demand her heart puts on them.

She has to go, she is not old enough to have this problem which can be corrected to a certain degree to extend her lifespan. I don't know why she can't see that. She will see it when it is too late. Just be firm with her, get her in the car and get it over and done with.

People make me sick to death of not taking a stand when there is a demand that something be done. My mom never wanted for anything. I had her to the doctor and out again and all taken care of when I knew there was a need. JUST GET IT DONE IF YOU WANT HER AROUND FOR A WHILE LONGER

Ya I do want her longer but she keeps blabbing on about how she doesn't want to know what she has and she is afraid and doesn't want to go throguh the medication and how she wants to die in peace and stuff like that and I'm like "STOP!"

How old are you? Like are you old enough to do the grocery shopping and things like that?

Does she take prescription meds for anything?
Does she drink caffeine or soda?

I understand how your mom feels cause I don't trust medicines either.
She needs to read up on preventative things to keep her healthy or restore her health.

Here is the stuff I take and I quit having crushing chest pains within a few days.
I still get mild ones sometimes when I drink the Pepsi.
They are all natural and support your adrenaline and can be taken with medicines.

Herbal Nutrition Supplements and Natural Vitamins: Adrenal Complex, Quantum, Premier Research Labs, 60 Caps

She really needs to get to a dr and get diagnosed though. Try convincing her to go to an alternative dr.

This is one of the best alternative doctors
Maybe if she reads some of the different pages and stuff on this site she may feel better about getting help.
