    Number of garnishment
I have a judgement against my wages for 30% already. My spouse wrecked my car after we were married and my insurance did not pay . I did not give him permission to drive due to a past DUI he received. The balance that was owed was apporximately $3,500. In the past I have had a number of illnesses. Now I have a garnishment against my wages for a student loan and now for that car. Legally, can I have 2 garnishments at the same time?

    What State?

(If there is a Judgment against you the circumstances of the accident do not matter.)

As a general rule one garnishment follows the other - I have never seen two at the same time but would have to look at your State's laws.
