    What to do?
My mom is deathly afraid of planes, but she has to go out of town this weekend and the fastest and most efficient way right now is a plane. She is worried about crashing because of all the news reports. I was just wondering if someone could tell me the statistics of plane crashes a year. And what her odds are of crashing.

P.S She's been on a plane before but every time they have turbulance her fear gets worse.

Bigger chance of being struck by a car, falling in the tub or being robbed.

You have a higher risk of dying in a car crash than in a plane crash.

There are meds that she can take to help with the anxiety.
