    Payne package unit good or bad
    I was quoted 5800 to replace roof top a\c with a payne 3 1/2 ton package unit scroll comp. what I am asking is this a fair price and is the unit trouble free, I'm replacing a wards unit that was installed in 1972 about 10 years ago replaced gas valve now it leaked out the freon but still runs other than that it has never been touched

    Payne is basically a carrier. On a lesser scale. Do they have any warranty with this unit??

    That sounds like a fair price. Are they getting a new roof curb or are they able to use the existing?

    Yes this sounds like a very fair price if you are getting new disconnect and curb. Is the price of the crane included?
