I am on birthcontrol,

I get headaces when my period starts on the day usually and sometimes it last for a few days, sometimes not so bad, sometimes really bad.
But even month a headace.

Is there any birthcontrol or anything to help this?

I know the pill can cause headaches in some people...
I got a head 1 day before until 2 days after my period finished, every month.. that's why I ended up skipping it a lot.

It depends on the individual, some people don't have any trouble with a certain contraception while others do.

I now have implanon and haven't had a single headache, while others get really bad ones.

The drug Frova has been used for that purpose.

There is a method of birth control that stops periods altogether. I forget the name of the method, but you do have to resume them every so often. So, you can have less periods in a year and thus less headaches. You may be able to use Frova for the other times. It must be taken slightly before the period starts to be effective.

That would be implanon I reckon... I haven't had any since I got it.
Some people get constant bleeding though so it's one of those things you have to really weigh up before you fork out your $300

I am the same way. Awful, debilitating migraines - normally the day before and the last day of my cycle.

I mark when it should be coming and take ibuprofin the night before. Somehow, it seems to "dull" the pain.

Also, regular massages helps. If you have a headache that day, a trip to a local masseuse or chiropractor can do wonders.

You I've done that too.
Well what about the pills you take for 3 months and then have a period how would that work?
And are they excpentive?
Because I am taking a pill now that is suppose to help that $60 and I still have a little headace not as bad. Some times bad.
