    Bleaching- The first time
Hey there I am a newbie and have been searching the net for an answer. I have a question about bleaching. I recently came back from holiday with my mid to dark brown hair all lovely and golden, my hair grows quite quickly and my roots which are slightly darker started to show. I decided I really like the golden brown look so I purchased a clairol hair colorant in a similar shade, I then preceded to dye my hair and find that it went darker than it was before! This has happened to me before but I really wanted the light color. Anyway's I decided to buy a garnier pre lightening kit to lighten my hair so I can get it to the correct shade. My question is this: can I dye my hair the golden brown after bleaching or do I have to wait a number of weeks before doing it? Also if I dyed my hair recently (sunday 24th 2006) can I put bleach on it so soon? I know these questions probably sound stupid but I can't seem to get any advice anywhere, even the instructions with the products were hazy and I want to cover all bases as it were before I dive in head first, if you'll excuse the pun!! Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks
P.S I apologise for my terrible grammar, spelling and punctuation but I am writing this in a little bit of a hurry!! Thanx:)

Pinklady, if your hair is not damaged, you can do the pre-lighten process and then deposit the color on the hair immediately.

Thank you. For your help, it's much appreciated. And it's certain that I can do the above process after dyeing my hair the dark colour 9 days ago ?

If your hair is good condition, you can do the coloring process.
