    What is Professionalism?
    What does professionalism really mean? To me it means knowing how to do your job right and doing it well. It also has to do with dignity, self respect, being committed. I just wanted to see other peoples opinion on this...

    Professionalism, to me, is more about the interactive abilities of a person as opposed to their individual skills. Someone can be great at their job and be totally committed to doing well, but they may have no respect for the team or the managerial structure. I think I would prefer someone who made a few mistakes every now and then, but got along with the community and understood teamwork more than a perfectionist who never messed up but couldn't get along with his co-workers.

    I suppose it's different in every field of work, though.
