    Dual country income
    If I worked in the US, and now am moving to India mid-year, where do I file my taxes

    In the U.S. you will file dual status tax return if you have H1-B or L1 visa.

    You CAN file your return from India, no problem. I help Indian clients file from India every year.

    You would file in both countries as part year residents for the year.
