Hampton Bay UC7083T Remote No More
I have a ceiling fan that until today has worked quite well with the remote. The LED light on the remote does not light up even after replacing the battery. There is no response from the fan or the lights to the remote. The fan will adjust with the pull chain, however, the lights do not turn on with the chain. I have already adjusted the DIP switches also with no response. I don't know where to go from here. Please help.

We have the same remote with the same problem. The only difference, it's hit the floor a few too many times. The last being a quick grab by the baby while carrying him past the doorway where the remote was mounted. The remote didn't show any outward signs of damage, though it did have a tiny rattle when shaken. Needless to say, it probably cannot be repaired and I'm presently on the hunt for a replacement. Good luck to you.
