Hampton Bay Ceiling fan problems with remote
I have a Hampton Bay ceiling fan that can no longer be operated by my remote control. I tried changing batteries and the LED lights up when you press the fan speed buttons, but nothing happens at the fan. Both the lighting and the fan itself are non-functional. Is there any suggestions on what to try, or do I need to start looking for a replacement remote?

Have you checked the frequencies/dip switches?

If so, it's more likely the receiver is the problem, rather than the remote.
