    No hot water
I have a single handle shower, when I turn it on the cold water comes out strong, but the hot just comes out very slow.I think it is a compression type,it has a hard plastic gasket on the end and the stem has holes about half way up the stem,I don't know what model this is.

It appears that you have problem with either the anti-scold balancing device inside the faucet. You will have to take the cartridge out and see if you can either clean it or replace it with new one.
