    Kenmore refrigerator is freezing both sides
    I have a Kenmore Coldspot Model #106.53634300 side by side. It has started to freeze the refrigerator side. I have tried to adjust the thermostat with no luck. Everything else is working fine...

    The defrost timer switch has gone bad and needs changed. Very common problem in side by sides.

    Could be the defrost timer as mentioned BUT could also be the defrost heater assembly or the drfrost thermostat/bimetal thermostat. I always replace all 3 items on a service call to be sure since they all go bad after a while.
