Trying to conceive for 6 months, something wrong?
I am new to all of this, so please excuse me.

My husband and I have been Trying to conceive for about 6 months. I am 20 and he is 22, both of us are healthy and I am taking a daily vitamin to make sure I'm getting every thing I need. We are both eating healthy and I have calculated when I ovulate to better our chances but it still hasn't happened. Are we doing something wrong or should I make an appointment to see my doctor?

Well sometimes getting pregnant takes time. Couples should try for 12 months to conceive before seeing a doctor assuming there are no medial conditions that would prevent conception, i.e irregular period, low sperm count or poor motility. You 2 are both young and should continue to try if no pregnancy occurs in the next 6 months then go see your doc to have some test done.

Relax and try to enjoy trying, you know they say it helps when you have an orgasm it helps to make those little swimmers reach their destination a look quicker.

    Good luck

Likely you are doing everything just fine. I know six months seems like a long time when you are really wanting to become pregnant, but many couples find it takes a good number of months. Some will take a year or so... and most doctors will not start suggesting any fertility testing until you have been trying at least that long.

One thing that could be an issue is if you are focusing just on when you think you are ovulating. If you used an ovulation calendar, that can give you a starting place, but you will want to pay attention to your body as well. Not everyone follows the norm used by the ovulation calculators and will ovulate a bit sooner or later than the average.
